Invisalign
Invisalign is a clear aligner therapy designed to gradually move your teeth into proper position, enhancing alignment and bite. An unhealthy bite or misalignment can lead to various issues over time, including chipping, cracking, fracturing, root pressure, or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) problems.
Unlike traditional orthodontic braces, the clear aligner is nearly invisible. As a result, it's ideal for adults or teenagers who want to straighten their teeth without concerns about their appearance during treatment.
How does Invisalign treatment work?
Step 1. Smile Evaluation
During the consultation, current smile and alignment will be evaluated. Estimated treatment length and overall treatment process will be discussed.
If you wish to move forward, we will take a record of your smile and pictures to design customized treatment plan called “ClinCheck”. ClinCheck is a 3D animation that shows smile transformation process and projected final smile. So you’ll know what exactly to expect at each step before beginning your treatment.
Step 2. Begin the transformation
You’re going to pick up the first set of aligners. We’ll make sure that the aligners fit correctly and are as comfortable as possible. There will be regular face-to-face check ups to give you each new batch of aligners and monitor the progress of your new smile.
Step 3. Look after your smile
Like all other orthodontic treatments, once you’re done with your Invisalign treatment, you’ll need to wear a retainer to keep your teeth straight.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Invisalign treatment time can vary. In general, it would take
Mild cases: 6-12 months
Moderate cases: 12-24 months
Severe cases: 24-36 months
